The Directorate Legal Advice is responsible for assisting the Attorney-General in fulfilling the constitutional duty of, amongst others, rendering legal advice to the President and the Namibian Government in terms of Article 87 of the Namibian Constitution.
The general function of the Directorate Legal Advice is therefore to provide legal advice to all OMAs, Regional and Local Authorities as well as State-Owned Enterprises.
